Cutting his teeth in the art of production aged just 14 has undoubtedly paid dividends for Detroit house slash techno producer Kris Wadsworth.
Now 24, Wadsworth is plying the world with an accomplished blend of the past and the present as first heard on his debut ‘Get Your Wadsworth’ for Morris Audio.
The Wadsworth sound has its roots in both Chicago and Detroit but puts a sleazy, contemporary spin on the both of them.
-THE UNIFORM PARTY.
In support of The Uniform Project ..and inspired by Craic and a girl called Clare the theme of the night was the letter 'C' .. we asked people to get their imaginatiON and work that Chanel number, Chav get up and Couture chic in order to raise money for a very very worthy cause!
The Ladies behind the Project landed in on the night to get involved in the celebration of all things 'C'.
Mike Smalle and Cyril Briscoe were in control of the chooons which sent everyone a bit mental! - CRAICTASTIC!
We had Carmen Miranda as usual dressed to the nines followed by a Colouring book, Clowns, Crackle of Rice Crispies fame, a Cowgirl and a Crip. There was a Clock, a Crocodile, a China Doll and two Canadians. Cilla Black setting people up all sides, appearances by Charlie Chaplin, Cleopatra and the Cat in the Hat. Ludo was Cool as F*%k and Paul was a Carbon Copy of himself. Coco Avant Chanel was on Prosecco and Cyril as Cyril was on the decks. The night also featured Christmas, Cherry Cola, a Calendar, a Condoman and a Cameraman. Calamity Can Can and Candy Stripe Couture -queens of the dancefloor. Conor was Casual and Hannah was Cheap. Carmella Soprano arrived at 4am as did a Canteen lady.. Cheap Cosmos all night long and the bottle of Champagne for the best 'C' outfit went to the Cloud! Thanks to everyone who got involved and donated.. - 800 dollars to the Akanksha Foundation!
A Jackoesque styled party as a tribute to the king of pop - The gloves were on, the studs a plenty, white sock-tastic and sequins to blind ya!
25.06.2009 - R.I.P MICHAEL J. JACKSON
The persuasions of one near legendary raver brought us Steffi- a resident at one of the best clubs in the world- Berlin's infamous Berghain/Panoramabar, 'her skills are extraordinary: effortlessly mixing up electronic disco, serious Detroit, Dutch electro, original, funky and fat House, and straight up techno, she can boggle your senses and tamper with your feet at the same time'.
She nearly became the DJ to send the floor through in Nimmos, the tiny room was packed to the max with people bouncin off the walls mad out if it!
-JOHN DALY & GER Z.
another mental adventure .. this time Mr. JOHN DALY & Mr. GER Z provided the soundtrack to our friday night/saturday morning.
-ROBIN VAN DER KAA
We had him last in October 08 for ARTISIT? and he came back to fuck the shit out of it once again! Making us dance on tables and do unmentionable bold things for a second time running Mr. Van Der Kaa of David Gilmour Girls brought us a serious dancetastic evening of banging tunes.
