THE UNIFORM PARTY.
12 September, 2009
NIMMOS, SPANISH ARCH, GALWAY.

In collaboration with and in support of The Uniform Project .. we are proud to launch The Uniform Parties... a series of parties taking place around the world in order to raise money for a very very worthy cause!
Inspired by Craic and a girl called Clare the theme of the night was the letter 'C' .. we asked people to get their imaginatiON and work that Chanel number, Chav get up and Couture chic.

The Ladies behind the Project landed in on the night to get involved in the celebration of all things 'C'. Sheena Matheiken & Eliza Starbuck, sporting Corkonian Court Jester and Catholic Guilt coupled with Clerical Chic respectively, got insanely involved the second they were off the plane! - We want to keep them and suspect most people who meet them do.. These ladies are living legends, crazy talented and super fun!

Mike Smalle and Cyril Briscoe were in control of the chooons which sent everyone a bit mental! - CRAICTASTIC!

We had Carmen Miranda as usual dressed to the nines followed by a Colouring book, Clowns, Crackle of Rice Crispies fame, a Cowgirl and a Crip. There was a Clock, a Crocodile, a China Doll and two Canadians. Cilla Black setting people up all sides, appearances by Charlie Chaplin, Cleopatra and the Cat in the Hat. Ludo was Cool as F*%k and Paul was a Carbon Copy of himself. Coco Avant Chanel was on Prosecco and Cyril as Cyril was on the decks. The night also featured Christmas, Cherry Cola, a Calendar, a Condoman and a Cameraman. Calamity Can Can and Candy Stripe Couture -queens of the dancefloor. Conor was Casual and Hannah was Cheap. Carmella Soprano arrived at 4am as did a Canteen lady.. then things just went a little Crazy.......

Cheap Cosmos all night long and the bottle of Champagne for the best 'C' outfit went to the Cloud! Thanks to everyone who got involved and donated.. - 800 dollars to the Akanksha Foundation!
